Lessons in grooming our kai's

Last Sunday Alisha & I attended a course in how to properly prepare and groom your kaimanawa for a show.  This was held out at Bald Hill Road Puni at Marilyn & Elders place. Kristine did a great job of presenting the information with lots of little tips and tricks to show them at their very best for "Inhand" and "Ridden" classes. Thanks Kristine and all the helpers that did such a great job.  We really enjoyed those scrumptious hamburgers as well....As there is a Kaimanawa class in the up and coming A&P show Clevedon in  November'09... we have no excuse - please bring your horses along.....These horses/ponies need to be out there and shown so that other people will see for themselves just how calm and sensible these little horses are...and just how good they can look when they are shown with proper preparation and care.
All the info relating to this show is on the website http://www.clevedonshow.co.nz/ entry forms and all info is there- so go on take a look and bring your horses/ponies along. You might just win or at the very least you will meet other Kaimanawa owners and their horses/ponies and make some very good new friends.
