Horse Cover

Isn't it surprising what you can do when you really have to.
Louka is now wearing a cover and somehow he got a big rip along
the top of it...(Wouldn't have been my Sarg though). The weather forcast
said bad weather's on it's way and I didn't want him to be without his
cover (didn't want to buy another one as my new Kai is due very soon).
So I decided I could mend it...Well guess what I DID!!!!! My little toyota
sewing machine managed to zig zag it's way along the rip, then I put a big patch over
the top and zigzagged that onto the cover...doesn't look the best as the patch is
dark brown.(was wide webbing from the belly straps on Sarg's new cover).
So I went back down and put them into the safe paddock in front of the barn and they all have a good warm cover on...and now we wait for more rain.
