It was our tuesday playday again today- It was threatening rain and Jane, Lynn & I decided we would go anyway...I had Lynn's 2 horses on my float so we thought we'd try Gypsy and Eli together on Janes float and go in convoy to the arena the other side of Clevedon. We travelled behind Jane so that we could see what Eli and Gypsy got up to in the float...Well what a non event- they were perfect partners and when we arrived at our destination we found it easyto park beside the arena- great for our bikkies & coffee. We did some ground work first- it was extremely windy but that didn't seem to worry anyone- even me!!! I wanted to try the sidestepping again- Gypsy was superb- impeccable manners in everything we did today- we jumped barrells- did the squeezeme through the smallest of gaps- all sorts of games- wow this was the best we have ever been- I think I can now do the online L1...just need to video now. I took her back after having a coffee and saddled her up again she was great...wouldn't say that I was on form today so we just did a little bit of walking..then practised backing....bending to a stop..and a few other things...then it was time to come home. Jane and Lynn did so well...Lynn walked and trotted Danny- what a star and Jane did spectacular groundwork with Eli then rode him - walking and trotting- Eli is just such a gorgeous horse now...doesn't walk all over you- he now floats like a dream- sometimes we have to remember how far we have come to see how well we are doing ( we being the horses and ourselves as partners). I myself feel that Gypsy and I are really bonding now and it is starting to show in our work together....can't wait till we get together again.
