They find it sooo easy to learn new tricks

I finally finished the sand in the tyres and packed it down as tight as I could get it.
Then I took Sargeant in to try and get him to sniff and then put one foot onto the truck tyre.
Well he sniffed it- then when I asked him to put his foot up onto it- he did- then when I asked him to put the other foot "UP" he did that too....I had forgotten that he learnt what "UP" meant way back when we were doing hoof trimming training...I forgot but he didn't!!!  He looked so proud of himself - a new thing to do-he even  puts both feet onto the bobcat tyre which is much smaller-  he just thrives on something new to do......then I tried Gypsy but she wasn't quite as easy- she put one foot up, but that was all....then Megan asked her and she stood with both feet on the small tyre and stayed there for ages until we asked her down again....then I tried Louka on the truck tyre...what a hoot he was so inquisitive sniffed it and pawed it then jumped it...and then he just put his right foot on it and looked at it resting there BUT he did not want to put his left foot on so I just left it with what he could handle...he didn't stress over it he just calmly put his right foot on and when I asked him to go "UP" he decided to jump it rather than go around it. What a funny fella...they look soo proud of themselves. Our play area is coming along nicely..My son Glenn has a couple of barrells for us...we have a big ball, poles and Jane brought some flags and colourful long batons ( I think we could use these to pass to one another when we are riding- like a baton in a relay) Road cones etc....I hope to post some photos
