Very Busy Days

I haven't had a lot of time these past few weeks but have still managed to get a little bit done with my small herd. They all seem to have had heaps of fun today as you can see from the photos.
Michelle has very kindly lent me her status saddle for Gypsy...( who I might add is starting to slim down again) She is enjoying the work and for a girl who has been far more aloof than then other horses - she is starting to soften... tells me that she's wanting to have fun now and be ridden, without all the hi jynx.  Sargeant is such a character...full of beans. Megan was riding him bareback yesterday and he was really enjoying himself...he was doing flying changes- looked fantastic- he has a very comfortable canter.  I was bathing them all yesterday morning and Louka was amazing- he loved it was positioning himself to get the hose on his face then around the mouth- once he had the water running over his mouth he pulled his lips back to let the water run over his teeth- maybee I should have the colgates and toothbrush there for him tee hee.  It has been soooo dry here- no rain to speak of since Dec;09 so when ever we can we take them to the stream for a paddle- so good for their feet as well...and even tho it's sooooo dusty they don't seem to be any worse for wear.
