Kai's in the calf shed

Well this took the cake!!!!!  I went down to feed Noa & Louka this morning in the pouring rain - thunder & lightning & I couldn't find them- panick struck all sorts of things went through my head- one of which -they have jumped the fence and GONE!!!! BUT WHERE TO?  Well you just wouldn't believe where I found them... The photo is shocking I know but it was taken on my phone- and Louka had just stepped out of the calf shed.  Noa is still in there...They have to stoop to get in there and also step over a piece of wood that goes across the ground at the front of the calf shed...The first time I went to take the photo they were both in there lying down...but when they saw me coming they thought I had food so they came out...they were so very careful- not rushed-...I couldn't believe it when I went back with their feed and here they were again in the shed...I rushed to take the photo and Louka had time to carefully step out but Noa was quite happy to wait until Louka was out before he attempted to come to get his feed....CLEVER this shed is not very high- but they certainly know how to improvise to keep themselves out of the weather....WHAT WONDERFUL FLOAT TRAINING!!!!!  Don't tell me that they are afraid of confined spaces.
